After Dinner: The Adams & Scott Family Connection
As part of YWCA Greater Charleston’s MLK Celebration, Transformation Table Lowcountry hosted its first ever MLK Beloved Community Dinner on January 12, 2024. Held at and sponsored by the International African American Museum (IIAM), the dinner brought together 50 community members for an evening of fellowship and food. Bintou N’Daw and partner Tracey of Bintû Atelier prepared an amazing meal of Senegalese cuisine. Martie and David Adams attended the dinner, as did LaToya D. Scott.

The dinner featured a meal that would be found on any Italian family’s dinner table prepared by Chef Vanina Meystre and hosted by Katie & Billy Dahlheim. It was our last dinner of 2017 and first on James Island!
