Our Team
Tina Singleton | she/her
Founder & Curator
From an international inclusion expert to a vegan chef and farmer, Tina Singleton has dedicated her life to building a more equitable world in the most grassroots way possible. In her own words, “It’s a complicated place doing this type of work, but it’s my life’s work. I’m not stopping now. There is much more work to do.”
Tine founded Transformation Table in 2016 with a vision to use food and fellowship among strangers to heal a broken world. Having hosted hundreds of people through dozens of transformational dining experiences, Tina believes that we can discover our common humanity when we create space for connection.
Cristina Caltagirone | she/her
Advisory Committee
Since meeting Cristina in Kabul, Afghanistan, while both she and Founder Tina L. Singleton worked for different international organizations, Tina has always wanted to work with her. We now have the opportunity!
Cristina joins Transformation Table with unique skills and expertise to support the program as Transformation Table expands to a global organization. Working in over 15 countries, with a background in cultural anthropology and international and intercultural management, Cristina has over 30 years of achievement in capacity building, training, and organizational development. She is also a crack researcher and has experience forming partnerships – global networks and coalition building.
Cristina currently lives in New Mexico.
Edie Blakeslee | she/her
Advisory Committee
When we heard the news that she had retired from the Coastal Community Foundation in Charleston, SC, we immediately contacted Edie Blakeslee to ask her to join Transformation Table’s Advisory Committee. After taking some well-deserved time off, she said yes!
Edie brings a multitude of skills and experience to the committee: she is a philanthropic leader, advocate, influencer, coach, mentor, and community builder. Edie worked at the Foundation for 19 years, most recently as Vice President of Grantmaking & Community Leadership. She has hit the ground running, and we couldn’t be happier to have her.
Edie and her husband Brian Hussein attended our Afghanistan dinner in February 2019.
