A Sofrito Project Dinner with Chef Reina Gascon-Lopez celebrating Transformation Table’s anniversary (Puerto Rican Cuisine)

  • North Charleston U.S. (map)

We finally met Reina Gascon-Lopez of The Sofrito Project when she agreed to be one of our chefs for the Community Table Dinner at the Charleston Wine & Food Festival. We’ve wanted to partner with her forever.

As a Puerto Rican raised in the South, Reina founded The Sofrito Project in 2017 to explore both her multiracial background and cultures through food. She is multi-talented: she’s a chef, writer, culinary instructor, and recipe tester, with over 10 years of restaurant and food industry experience.

It’s an honor to partner with her.

Payment Policy

Transformation Table is committed to ensuring that our gatherings represent the diverse voices of our community. We understand that everyone's financial situation is different, and our goal is to make our dinners accessible to all. To achieve this, we invite you to pay whatever you can afford. While we strive to maintain the high quality of our dinner experiences and support our local chefs and businesses, we suggest a ticket price of $100. Payments above $100 are sincerely appreciated and will help us cover the expenses for those who may require financial assistance to attend our dinners.

Due to the size of our Tables, if you are unable to attend a dinner that you have already paid for, please feel free to give your seat to another community member, family, or friend. No refunds.
