Are we thrilled that chef Awo contacted us from North Carolina wanting to share her love and passion for Ghanaian cuisine with Transformation Table guests? You bet we are.

Chef Awo brought the Ghanaian cuisine learned from her grandmother plus her unique spin and creativity to the dishes that immersed guests in a dining experience that even the Ghanaians at the table were blown away by. Her unique combination of ingredients, flavors, and impeccable presentation awed our guests.

The big takeaway of the evening? Intentionality. No phones, everyone being fully present, and the active listening that took place around the table. As guest Shantall said, “listening to understand, not to respond.”
