MLK BELOVED COMMUNITY DINNER

Our first Transformation Table Lowcountry event! In partnership with YWCA Greater Charleston as part of their MLK Celebration Week, we hosted our inaugural MLK Beloved Community Dinner.

Held at the International African American Museum (IAAM) who also sponsored the event, the dinner was attended by 50 community members from across the Lowcountry - strangers gathered together, who shared a meal, connected, listened, learned, laughed and left feeling a little bit closer to their community and common humanity. Chef Bintou N’Daw and her partner Tracy created a beautiful meal that showcasing the culture and flavors of the African diaspora.
