Featuring Black Refractions: Highlights from The Studio Museum in Harlem

JUNE 12, 2019

Food is oftentimes only thought of as nourishment, and art, as the saying goes, is great when it makes you think about some aspect of what it is to be human. James Beard nominated Chefarmer Matthew Raiford, presented a four-course dinner in the Campbell Rotunda inspired by five works on view in the exhibition Black Refractions from the Studio Museum of Harlem. It was our way of combining food and art to help us think about where we are as humans in a different, deeper way. Thank you to the Gibbes for this unique collaboration!
